Steve Bennedik has been Sky News Head of Technology since 2008. His recent work has included the launch of Sky News HD, and covering a General Election Leaders’ Debate in 3D. He is tasked with adapting technology to empower journalists at Sky News headquarters and in the field. Prior to his current role, Steve was in charge of all the channel’s interactive elements, including the website skynews.com. Before joining BSkyB, he worked for Yorkshire Television, the BBC and the Yorkshire Post.
